The city life has kept me sheltered from the wilderness. The sights and sounds of wildlife has always given me the jitters lol. So you wouldn’t be surprised if I told you this was a spontaneous trip to Patapsco Valley State Park. The trails were steep and dusty going down to the river. I was more so concerned about loosing my fringe purse lol then actually tumbling down the hill. I must say once I finished the trail the view was so worth it. While I was not prepared dress wise for this trip, I was ready to brace the unknown of wildlife and work with what I was wearing. I was lucky I wore a heavy bright sweater to keep me warm from the periodic breeze and to ward off hungry mountain lions lol. The black liquid motorcycle leggings helped with hiking back up the steep hills. If I had worn skinny jeans I would not have been able to make it back up lol. Thank goodness I did not have on heels that day, instead I had on my trusty military boots.  On days I want to be casual and give myself a break from heels, I love sporting my military boots for a rugid, but feminine look.
